Wood crochet base / bottom for baskets and bags.  These bases will help keep your baskets strong and sturdy.  they provide a nice flat base and help cut down on the cost of more expensive cords or T-shirt yarns.  The holes on these bases are sized for a smaller weight yarn like 3mm cord or 3-5mm t-shirt yarn.  
Use a hook that is about 2 times smaller than your project hook on your first round.  Ex; If your pattern calls for a size 6 hook, use a size 4 on the first round to pull the yarn through the holes.
